Couple exchanges vows in recent church ceremony
The bride is the daughter of Lannie and Tonnya Robinson. Her grandparents are Gerald and Wanda Hallum, Louise Robinson and the late Ralph T. Robinson.
Parents of the bridegroom are Carl Watson and Joyce Minton. He is the grandson of Sallie Brown, the late Fred Watson, Anna Lee Bickford and the late J.L. Bickford.
Upon entering the church, guests were greeted by register attendants Kayla Robinson, the bride’s cousin, and Rylan Curtis. The guests brought gift ornaments which the attendants used to adorn Christmas trees in the church foyer.
The bride wore a white Oleg Cassini design. The gown was styled with a rounded neckline and empire waist. Beaded inserts enhanced the front and back and extended down the chapel length train.
She wore baby’s breath in her hair and carried a nosegay of white roses, blue cosmos and crystal sprays tied with white ribbon and icicles.
Chosen as maid of honor was Amanda Lee Bell. Bridesmaids were Angie Collins and Becky Holcomb. They were attired in long A-line gowns of cloud blue featuring beadwork along the front. Each attendant held a small nosegay similar to the bride’s. The flowers were tied with snowflake ribbon.
Flower girls were Katie Robinson, niece of the bride, and Sara-Grace Robinson, a cousin.
Alex Burgess and Jonathan Snider were the ring bearers.
Serving as best man was Travis Shockley. Groomsmen were Josh McCarver and Earl Campbell and ushers were David Holcomb and Daryl Collins.
After the wedding a reception was given by the bride’s parents in the Bonner fellowship hall.
Servers were Jessi Tate, Linda Bell, Paula Stotts, Melissa Killian and Chastity Bryant.
The bride attends Motlow State Community College where she is majoring in education. She is an employee of Baskin Robbins and teaches a class for two-year-old children at Gath Preschool. The bridegroom is employed by Federal Mogul.
They are residing in Campaign.
