He was born Nov. 20 in Chattanooga. In addition to his parents, he is survived by paternal grandparents, William D. Rein of Rock Island and Alisa C. Rein of Mabelton, Ga.; maternal grandfather, James C. Johnstone of Arizona. He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Peggy Johnstone.
