Aycock Fencing keeps on rolling

Aycock Fencing still holds on to the No.1 spot in the girls 7- and 8-year-old coach pitch league after downing Outdoor Shop 25-11.
Aycock Fencing scored seven runs in the bottom of the first, six in the second, six in the third and six in the fourth. Outdoor Shop was held to two runs in the first, two in the second, five in the third, one in the fourth and one in the fifth.
For Aycock Fencing, Callie Cathcart, Devin Kell, Hope Mullican and Allison Mingle led the way with four hits each. Lexie Chadwell, Michelle Collier, Katelyn Smith, Jayme Collier and Kassie McCarty added three hits each, while Breanna Richardson added two hits.
For Outdoor Shop, Jordan Bess, Macie Walker and Selena Glenn had three hits each. Allie Thomas, Madison Merriman, Kaylee Seamons and Anaston Chisam had two hits each. Layla Crawford, Crosley Smith and Gracie Judkins added one hit apiece.
Sanders Construction defeated McMinnville Aluminum and Vinyl 10-4. Livia Brewer, Rhiannon Hoover, Madison Stewart and Rachel Johnson led the way for Sanders with three hits each. Makensi Woods, Sara Denning and Sarah Brewer added two hits each.
For the MAVS, Erin Hollis and Ashlyn Patterson had three hits each. Kionna Smith and Tori Reynolds had two hits each. Lydia Angus, Torie Coldwell, Kelsey Fults, Saylor Hodges, Carley Hamilton added one hit apiece.
Sanders scored two runs in the top of the first, two in the second, one in the third, three in the fourth and two in the fifth. The Mavs scored one run in the first, one in the third, one in the fourth and one in the fifth.
Earlier in the week Outdoor Shop rolled past McMinnville Aluminum 21-10. Outdoor Shop scored three runs in the top of the first, four in the second, seven in the third, one in the fourth and six in the fifth. The MAVS sent two run to the plate in the first, three in the third, two in the fourth and three in the fifth.
For Outdoor Shop, Allie Thomas, Crosley Smith and Anaston Chisam had four hits apiece. Madison Merriman, Jordan Bess and Maci Walker had three hit each. Layla Crawford, Kaylee Smith and Selena Glenn had two hits each and Gracie Judkins added one hit.
For the MAVS, Erin Hollis and Ashlyn Patterson had three hits each. Erin Lane, Lydia Angus, Torie Coldwell, Kelsey Fults, Carley Hamilton, Tori Reynolds and McKenna Panter added two hit each.
Homeland Bank slipped past Sanders Construction 17-16. Homeland was led by Ali Hollandsworth and Kyra Hillis with four hits each. Natalie Reed, Allison Fann, Haven McBride, Anna Bain and Maylee Jaco had three hits each. Abbey Bain and Taylor DeArmond had two hits each. Leah Jacobs and Kelsey Gross had one hit each.
For Sanders, Rachel Johnson and Sara Denning had five hits apiece. Rhiannon Hoover, Livia Brewer and Makensi Woods had four hits each. Bethany Porter, Emily Pennington and Sarah Brewer had three hit apiece and Autumn Russell added one hit.
Sanders scored four runs in the top of the second, six in the fourth and six in the fifth. Homeland sent three runs across the plate in the first, two in the second, two in the third, four in the fourth, five in the fifth and one in the sixth.
