Iva Mae Riley Fibelkorn, 86

Viola resident and Perry County native Iva Mae Riley Fibelkorn, 86, died Jan. 22 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville.

A retired nurse with United Regional Medical Center, she was the daughter of the late Elvis C. and Sarah Izorah Riley; and was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Fibelkorn; daughter, Carolyn Ann Smoyak; grandsons, Rusty Carden and Christian Carden; brothers, Willie C. Riley and Joe L. Riley; and sister, Addie Sue Jones.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Linda L. and Ralph Coursey of Viola; son and daughter-in-law, Freddie and Brenda Fibelkorn of Manchester; son-in-law, Jack and Kay Smoyak of Manchester; grandchildren, Lynda Carden (Cantrell), Donna (Bob) Trail, all of Manchester, Christy (Rhea) Thompson of Fayetteville, Jeff Coursey of Viola, Amanda (Josh) Walker of Murfreesboro and Jared Fibelkorn of Tullahoma; great-grandchildren, Viktor Carden, Christina Carden, Wesley Trail, Haley Trail and Virginia Thompson; sisters, Ruth Shearon and Wylodean McCormack, both of Nashville; brother, Paul Riley of Florence, Ala.; aunt, Cletis Richardson of Linden; and a host of friends.

Services were held Thursday at Central Funeral Home in Manchester with Dr. Michael R. Bradley officiating. Burial followed at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Central Funeral Home of Manchester is in charge of arrangements.
