A waitress and a member of the Pentecostal Church, she was preceded in death by her father, Herman Highlander.
She is survived by mother, Shirley A. Johnson; sisters, Kandi L. McAdams of McMinnville, Sheila E. Johnson, Ellen M. Johnson and Patricia A. Pedro, all of West Virginia, brother and sister-in-law, Allen L. and Robin Johnson of McMinnville; aunts, Joyce Brown and Linda Roberts; grandmother, Mary E. Johnson; two nieces, and caregivers, Joyce Brown, Linda Smartt, J.R. Brown and Kandi McAdams.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home with Donald Reed officiating. Burial will follow Pleasant Hill. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at Love-Cantrell & Cope. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral expenses.
