Ross hears 49-person docket in court Tuesday

A 49-person docket was heard Tuesday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Court.

Included in court action:

‘ Charles Anderson Jr. was bound over to the grand jury on charges of aggravated burglary of a dwelling and theft over $1,000.

‘ Freddie Eldridge was bound over to the grand jury on the charge of theft over $10,000.

‘ Justin Pinter was bound over to the grand jury on charges of theft over $1,000 and aggravated burglary.

‘ Mark Lefevre was granted a six-month judicial diversion and must make restitution for theft.

‘ David Hunter was given an 11-29 sentence and released on time served for theft.

‘ Taurean Siron Green was given a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $250 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for simple possession of drugs.

‘ Brandi Gipson was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $846 and perform 16 hours public service work for domestic assault.

‘ Melanie Thomas was granted a six-month judicial diversion and must pay $50 plus costs for assault.

‘ Carolyn Ross was granted a six-month judicial diversion and must pay $210 and perform eight hours public service work for assault.

‘ Mercedes C. Hernandez was given a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $50 plus costs for assault.

‘ Keith Prater was given a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $50 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for criminal impersonation.

‘ Jared Edward Scott was granted an 11-29 judicial diversion and must pay $50 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

‘ Jason Wilcox must pay $10 plus costs and must perform 16 hours public service work for public intoxication.

‘ Alejandro Diaz must serve 48 hours and pay $50 plus costs for public intoxication.

‘ Garrett Duggin was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must make restitution on charges of passing two worthless checks totaling $98 and failure to appear in court.

‘ Jacob Simpson was fined $50 plus costs for resisting arrest.

‘ Kayla Simpson, Jason Rick Hagan, Timothy R. Smith and Vander Vernon Maxwell were fined $10 plus costs for disorderly conduct.

‘ Karen Sarver must serve 48 hours for failure to appear in court.

‘ Braulio D. Jarquin must serve five days for violation of probation.

‘ Jennifer Fuentes must serve 10 days for violation of probation.

‘ Rafael Castill Medellin must serve 30 days and have his probation extended by one year for violation of probation.

‘ Steven M. Tate had his probation extended by one year for violation of probation.

Clarification

‘ Melissa (Lisa) Scott of Pettigap Road is not the Lisa M. Scott charged in circuit court.
