Loriene Johnson Myers, 90
Mrs. Myers was born June 29, 1917 in Sparta to Melvin and Lela Goldtrap Johnson, who preceded her in death. She was retired from the Sparta shirt factory and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bill Myers, son, Will Ed Baker and his wife Alma Walling Baker; daughter, Mary Katherine Myers; two sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her children Ruth Myers Tittsworth of Doyle, William ‘Bill’ Myers and wife Euvonda of McMinnville; Heardy Myers and wife Lisa of Marietta, Ga., John Myers and wife Glenda of Sparta, Floretta Myers Grove of Doyle; brothers, Howard Johnson of Lakeland, Fla., and Virgil Johnson of Mansfield, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Baptist Church with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Billy Lowery will officiate. The family will receive friends 6 p.m. tonight at the church.
Hunter Funeral Home of Sparta is in charge of arrangements.
