Lonnie F. Clemons, 69

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Lonnie F. Clemons, 69, was born June 4, 1938 and died Nov. 22 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness.

A truck driver and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of Essie Clemons Bouldin of McMinnville and the late Eskel Clemons. He was married Oct. 31, 1979 to Christine Young Clemons of McMinnville.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three children and one daughter-in-law, Sherry Todd, Stephen and Phyllis Smith Clemons, and Barbara Madewell, all of McMinnville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; aunt, Ruby Curtis of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Minnie Medley of McMinnville and several cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today in High’s Chapel with Pokie George and Kenneth W. Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service today at High’s.
