Berleen Whitman Prater, 82
A homemaker and a member of Forest Mill Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Buford and Nellie Travis Whitman, and was preceded in death by her first husband, Everett Scott; and second husband, Grady M. Prater.
She is survived by sisters, Cathleen Woodard and Dorothy Latimer, both of Summitville and Nellie Jo Raines of McMinnville; brother, Buford Whitman Jr., of Illinois; sisters-in-law, Brownie Nabors of McMinnville; Jo Powers Rowland of McMinnville; several special nieces, nephews and special friends, Ken and Judy Burgess of Manchester.
Services were held Wednesday at Coffee County Funeral Home with Darrell Denman officiating. Burial followed at Morrison Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Coffee County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
