Mildred Cora Mai Pope, 99
A homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late James Travis and Mark York Green; and was preceded in death by her husband, Darius Samuel Pope; and brother, A.C. Green.
She is survived daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Bill Bippes of Concord, Mich., Queta and Ron Shaw of Burford, Ga., and Treva Smith of Chesterville, Mich.; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Jan Pope of Hudson, Fla., and David T. and Alicia Pope of Atlanta, Ga.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and sister, Lorene Peden of Frankfurt, Ky.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Mt. Vernon Cemetery with Geoffrey Shaw officiating. There will be no visitation. Family will meet at graveside.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
