Donna Campbell to thank for Hickory Creek Choir

TO THE EDITOR:

Congratulations to Mrs. Donna Campbell on her retirement from Hickory Creek Elementary School.

Mrs. Campbell has directed the Hickory Creek Choir so ably and professionally for the past several years and has orchestrated some of the most melodic concerts in this county. For what could be more beautiful than the sound of children singing?

Mrs. Campbell is to be commended not only for training our children in the finer points of choir singing and performing, but also for giving up her ever-so-important planning period to do so.

For all her dedication, expertise and tireless efforts, we thank her and we want her to know that her work has not gone unnoticed. Because of Mrs. Campbell’s willingness to share her talents with others, her students were introduced to ideas and concepts that otherwise they would not have learned.

As we parents some day look back upon the highlights of our children’s school days, their performances with the Hickory Creek Choir will forever be a most special part of our memories. Bravo Mrs. Campbell for a job well done!
