THURSDAY, SEPT. 23

Sunny Day Adult Day Care is celebrating National Adult Day Services Week and the 10th anniversary of Sunny Day Adult Care on Sept. 23 beginning at 2 p.m. with open discussion of needs of the caregivers. An open house will be from 3 to 5 p.m. It will take place at the Senior Center at 809 Morrison Street.

The 5th annual Rocky River Bluegrass festival will be held Sept. 24 and 25 at Rocky River CIC. Admission is $6 for Friday and $8 for Saturday, or the weekend for $12. Children under 10 free. Performance starts at 6 p.m. Friday with five bands scheduled and at 11 a.m. Saturday with eight bands scheduled to play twice. Free rough camping and parking. A reunion for former Kingsboro Mills and Formfit Rogers employees will begin at 10 a.m., Sept., 25 at Vervilla CIC. Bring a covered dish. For information call 668-9423.

Transparenting will hold a seminar on divorce’s impact on children. The class meets court requirements and will be held Sept. 25. Cost is $40 per person and includes workbook. For information or to register, call 473-8650.

The annual Hobbs reunion will be held Sept. 26 at Fall Creek Falls at noon at the pavilion near the nature center. Bring a covered dish.

Homecoming will be held at Forest Park Baptist Church at 11 a.m., Sept. 26 with speaker Hugh Callens. Lunch after morning service and singing by the Pelham Family.

Voter registration clinics are under way. The schedule includes 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Sept. 21 at the Senior Center; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sept. 22 at Warren County High School; 4 to 8 p.m., Oct. 1 at Wal-Mart; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Oct. 2 at Three Star Mall; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lowe’s. Registration can also be done any week day at the election office inside the county government building. Deadline for registration at the office is Oct. 1. All mailed registration must be postmarked by Oct. 3, meaning it must be mailed by Oct. 2.

A veterans outreach will be held Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the administrative building on Locust Street. For information call 473-6920.
