Weismore sentenced to 180 days
Eleven people were sentenced last week by Judge Bart Stanley in Circuit Court.
Included in court action:
• Ethan Chad Weismore was ordered to serve 180 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and perform 20 hours public service work for failure to list himself on the state’s sexual offender registry.
Weismore is one of 11 convicted sex offenders in Warren County targeted for arrest for failure to register with the state registry that keeps tabs on sex offenders. The minimum sentence for a first offense is 180 days in jail.
• James Upchurch was ordered to serve 146 days of a four-year sentence, pay $2,000 plus costs and perform 24 hours public service work for manufacture of meth, evading arrest and driving on a suspended license.
• Gregory Scott Stewart was ordered to serve 120 days of a six-year sentence, pay $250 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for one year for forgery, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.
• Amanda Smartt was directed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence, perform 20 hours public service work and make restitution for theft and sale of a counterfeit substance.
• Larry Smith must serve 90 days for violation of probation.
• Danny Clay Martin must serve 30 days and have his probation extended by one year for violation of probation.
• Christopher Smith must serve 60 days and have his probation extended by one year for violation of probation.
• Stephanie Stone must serve the balance of her sentence for violation of probation.
• Johnny Brady must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.
• Jonathan Sweeton must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.
• Rachel D. Anderson must serve 60 days and have his probation extended by one year for violation of probation.
