Patsy Elaine Prater Owens, 42

McMinnville resident and Cannon County native Patsy Elaine Prater Owens, 42, died March 28 at her home after an extended illness.

A retired factory worker and homemaker and a member of Center Hill Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Ida Mae Prater.

She is survived by her parents, Sammie and Mazel Burger Prater of Woodbury; husband, Eddie Owens; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Owens and Rob Self of McMinnville; son, Scotty Ray Owens of McMinnville; granddaughter, Gracie Nichole Self of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Myron and Darlene Prater of Woodbury; sisters, Carolyn and Jimmy Blanton, Judy Blankenship and Bobby Irwin, Peggy and Jimmy Wilson, all of Woodbury; father and mother-in-law, Ravon and Mildred Owens of McMinnville.

Services were held Tuesday at Woodbury Funeral Home with Greg Mitchell and Bobby Wheeler officiating. Burial followed at Center Hill Cemetery.

Woodbury Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
