FCE Club: Lucky Homemakers

Members of Lucky Homemakers Family and Community Education Club gathered at the home of Dima Craddock for the Jan. 26 meeting.

Gladys Womack, devotional leader, read Proverbs 22:1-6 and Elsie Fugate worded the prayer.

Beth Jones showed a quilted square of uniform, hand-appliqued stitches in pink and green on a white background. Brenda Woodlee shared two items, a candle and holder and an angel wind chime, made with beads.

Sherry Solomon presided as members were reminded that 2004 dues were being accepted. The club was to send Valentine greeting cards to residents of Raintree Manor. The annual visit to Harmony House in February was planned and Visitation Month was also discussed.

During the social hour, Mrs. Craddock served festive taco soup with sandwiches, chips, strawberry pretzel salad and orange cranberry cake. Everyone enjoyed the delightful meal, good fellowship and exchanged stories of the holidays.
