Judge Larry Ross hears 82-person court docket

An 82-person docket was heard last Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Traffic Court.

Included in court action:

• Jose A. Vazquez was ordered to serve 120 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $1,150 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for three years for second-offense DUI and driving on a revoked license.

• George W. Matthews was ordered to serve 45 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $50 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for two years for second-offense driving on a revoked license.

• Richard T. Taylor was instructed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $500 plus costs and perform 48 hours public service work for simple possession of marijuana.

• Thomas Ray Patterson was bound over to the grand jury on charges of second-offense DUI and second-offense driving on a revoked license.

• Jose A. Gonzalez was directed to serve seven days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for one year for DUI.

• Shane D. Logan was instructed to serve five days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for one year for DUI.

• Brent E. Boyd was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for one year for DUI.

• Roberto Crisanto was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $360 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for one year for DUI and driving without a license.

• Corker Deloach was bound over to the grand jury on the charge of DUI.

• Juan F. Rojas must serve five days and must pay $50 plus costs for driving without a license.

• Brady J. Tallant was fined $10 plus costs and must perform 16 hours public service work for driving without a license.

• Christopher D. Hayes and Raul Rivera were fined $10 plus costs for driving without a license.

• Rodney Dixon was fined $50 plus costs for violation of the open container law.

• Thomas C. Young must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.

• Jimmy L. Yates must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.

• Jimmy R. Gilliam must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.

• Jerry L. Ayers Jr. must serve 30 days and have his probation extended by six months for violation of probation.

Clarifications

• Terry Lynn Henderson, an employee of Fann’s Auto Salvage and a West End Avenue resident, is not the Terry Henderson charged with driving on a revoked license.

• Michael Shane Higgins, an employee of Oster and a member of Friendship Baptist Church, is not the same person listed on the court docket.
