Circuit Court: Making meth costs Young three years

Twenty-five people were sentenced last week by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley.

Included in circuit court action:

• Eddie Woodrow Young was given a three-year sentence and must pay $2,000 plus costs for manufacture of meth. He also had his probation for a prior offense violated and must serve the term in addition to his drug sentence.

• Debbie Merchant was ordered to serve 60 days of a five-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for manufacture of meth.

• Troy Christopher Martin was directed to serve three years and pay $2,000 plus costs for manufacture of meth.

• Ira Bouldin was directed to serve 120 days of a three-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for manufacture of meth.

• Travis Melton and Andrew Fults were ordered to serve 184 days of four year-sentences and pay $3,000 plus costs for manufacture of meth.

• Tammy Giddeons was instructed to serve 60 days of a two-year sentence and must pay $2,000 plus costs for sale of drugs.

• Maria Moore and Jeremy Apple were directed to serve 30 days of 11-29 sentences and pay $750 plus costs for possession of drugs.

• Trina Campbell was handed an 11-29 probationary sentence and must perform 48 hours public service work for simple possession of drugs.

• John Mark Porter was instructed to serve 60 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $750 plus costs for simple possession of drugs.

• Boyd Goins was instructed to serve 180 days of a four-year sentence and pay $500 plus costs for aggravated burglary, vandalism and assault.

• Deborah Ann Porter was instructed to serve 30 days of a two-year sentence and make $700 restitution for theft.

• Jasmine Rutherica Hayes was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $75 plus costs and perform 24 hours public service work for theft.

• Shannon Pleasant was ordered to serve 150 days of a six-year sentence and make $2,100 restitution for theft.

• Latisha Kay Grandy was ordered to serve 12 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs and forfeit her driver’s license for one year for DUI.

• Curtis Turner was ordered to serve 60 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $600 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for two years for second-offense DUI.

• Richard Green was directed to serve 120 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,100 and forfeit his driver’s license for third-offense DUI.

• Ronnie Craven must serve 15 days for criminal trespass.

• Jeffery D. Martin must serve 30 days for driving without a license.

• Rodney Walker must serve 90 days for violation of probation.

• Dale Bonner had his probation revoked and must serve the balance of his sentence.
