The wedding party stood before an ivy-draped arch centered between two apple trees. At each side were topiary trees and white candle trees banked with white petal plants. The unity candle was placed at a focal point.

The bride, escorted by her step-father, was attired in a long ballgown of ivory satin designed with an elongated waist and tulle skirt extending into a chapel train. The bodice was appliqu?d with rum pink flowers, pearls and lace. The matching headpiece was a comb of ivory tulle caught to an elbow-length veil edged in rum pink satin. The wedding ensemble had been worn by the bride’s sister, Andrea Hobbs, for her wedding.

The bride was presented 13 long-stemmed yellow roses by family and friends as she proceeded along the aisle. This gesture that formed the bride’s bouquet was in memory of her father who died 13 years ago.

Maids of honor were the bride’s sisters, Christie Hinson of Murfreesboro and Andrea Hobbs of Cookeville. They wore long satin frocks of periwinkle blue and held ivory roses accented with purple wildflowers and eucalyptus. Their jewelry included a three-stone diamond necklace and sterling silver bracelet engraved with their monogram, which were gifts from the bride and groom.

Approximately 125 guests attended the outdoor wedding reception held at the home of the bride’s grandparents.

The four-tiered wedding cake supported by angelic columns was topped with a Kim Anderson figurine and adorned with yellow roses and baby’s breath. The bridegroom’s table, sprinkled with yellow rose petals, held a three-tiered strawberry pie and crystal plates filled with strawberries. Also displayed on the tables were pictures of the bridal couple and Kim Anderson figurines.
