Frontier wrong to print address
There can be very few worse living conditions in the United States than living in fear ? terrible for an adult and completely traumatizing for a child. Our police and sheriff’s department do what they can, but in most cases their hands are tied until after the fact.
Many times they cannot interfere because no crime has been committed. Often they get no call from the victim who feels that calling would be like signing their death warrant. The children in these situations are terrified and often scarred for life. It is a courageous person who makes the call to get out of this way of life and put their trust in someone they don’t even know.
That’s what Families in Crisis means to this community — a safe haven for protection from abuse. That organization has been a way to sustain life and the welfare of children. To the many people behind the scenes who have given of themselves to help with Families in Crisis, I very much respect and admire your endless and constant effort.
As for Frontier phone company, I see no excuse for what happened. How can Ben Lomand be blamed when it doesn’t appear in their listings? How can a computer be blamed when there is a human feeding the data into it? This situation involves a huge company causing complete chaos and danger to human lives unnecessarily, and they seem unwilling to help with any of the efforts of remedy.
As a customer of Frontier myself, I’m going to have to give some serious thought to this one. I hope the rest of the community does also.
