Couple weds at Historic Falcon Manor
The bride is the daughter of Terry and Jackie Padilla. She is the granddaughter of Bobby and Mickey Padilla of Harahan, La., and the late Jack and Martine Haley of Ft. Myers, Fla.
Parents of the bridegroom are Wayne Johnson of Morgantown, Ky., and Diane Johnson of Pine Island, Fla. His grandparents are Martha Johnson and the late Leonard Johnson of Morgan-town, and the late Imogene and Clarence Hampton of Russellville, Ky.
Attending the guest register was Terri Serena of Sparta.
The bride was attired in a tradition gown of matte satin and Venetian lace. The lace bodice featured a becoming V-neckline, Basque waist and bell-style lace sleeves. Venetian lace also enhanced the full ballgown skirt and cathedral train. The bride’s elbow length veil of silk illusion extended from a bridal halo. She carried a bouquet of hand-tied daisies.
Vickie Hall was matron of honor and Tiffany Moore was chosen as bridesmaid. They are sisters of the bride.
The attendants were identically attired in black and white with a tuxedo flare. Their white halter bodices were designed with a V-neckline, wide lapels and empire waist complemented by black a flowing floor-length skirt. They also held hand-tied daisies.
Flower girl Erin Fults wore a white silk dress with a lace overlay adorned with silk flower petals. Daisies formed her halo and small bouquet.
Best man was Jason Hampton of Russellville, uncle of the bridegroom; and groomsman was Michael Bostic of Warren, Mich., the bridegroom’s brother-in-law. Serving as ushers were Billy Moore, brother of the bride; and David Hall, her brother-in-law.
The bride’s mother wore a black and orchid pant suit and the bridegroom’s mother was wearing a black blouse and a multi-colored skirt adorned with flowers. Daisies also formed the bridal mothers’ corsages.
After the vows were exchanged, a wedding reception was given in the Victorian Carriage House adjoining the mansion. Approximately 60 guests were in attendance.
The bride is employed as dispatcher with Specialized Transportation. She graduated with the Class of 1988 from North Fort Myers High School in Florida.
The bridegroom is employed as a heavy equipment operator with G.W. Wyatt. He is a 1995 graduate of Fort Myers High School in Florida.
The couple is residing in McMinnville.
