Senior Center to hold

An AARP driving class will be conducted this Tuesday and Wednesday for motorists 50 and over at the McMinnville-Warren County Senior Center, located at 809 Morrison Street.

There will be four hourly sessions each day from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Bob Parkedes will be the instructor.

Legislation in 34 states and the District of Columbia requires automobile insurance companies to provide AARP driving class graduates a multi-year discount. A number of insurance companies provide voluntary discounts in the other 16 states.

State Farm insurance agent Neil Helton has donated $50 to help pay for these classes. The first 10 people registered will receive $5 off class admission price of $10.
