Alice Martha Parton, 85
A homemaker and a member of the Christian faith, she was the daughter of George and Eula Agnes Yancy West; and was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bryant Parton in 1955.
She is survived by her son, Douglas Parton of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Martha Jane Parton and Buck Shouse of Michigan; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brother, Carlos West of California; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at High’s Chapel with Leonard Herman officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at High’s.
