New Union Cemetery Association will meet at 2:30 p.m. at New Union United Methodist Church to elect a trustee and discuss cemetery upkeep.

Chapter 883 of the National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees will meet at noon at Western Sizzling in Tullahoma. Guest speaker is U.S. Senate candidate Bob Tuke.

McMinnville Lions Club will present a free diabetes awareness program at 6 p.m. at the Caney Fork Electric auditorium. Come and learn about resources available for you, your family, and your friends. Call 473-3234 for more information. Diabetic friendly refreshments will be served.

The National Foundation for Transplants will hold a benefit supper for local residents at Centertown Community Center from 4 to 8 p.m. Plates featuring chicken or meatloaf and a variety of other items are $6. Entertainment by Terry Grissom and True Vine Ministries.
