Ross hears 65-person court docket
A 65-person docket was heard Tuesday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Court. Included in court action:
‘ Billy Johnson was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and pay $250 plus costs for possession of marijuana for resale.
‘ Chellsie M. Jones was granted an 11-29 judicial diversion and must perform 48 hours public service work and pay $250 plus costs for simple possession of marijuana.
‘ Gina Bauman was bound to the grand jury on charges of identity theft, illegal possession of credit cards and theft.
‘ Valerie G. Norrod was bound to the grand jury on the charges of theft and forgery.
‘ Amanda Chaple was bound to the grand jury on charges of theft and forgery and must serve the balance of her former sentence for violation of probation.
‘ Patsy Richardson was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must perform 20 hours public service work for failing to keep her child in school.
‘ Juan Rodriguez must serve five days for resisting arrest.
‘ Ronnie J. Smith was fined $50 plus costs and must perform 16 hours public service work for disorderly conduct.
‘ Troy Bain was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must perform 16 hours public service work and attend parenting classes for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
‘ James Isaacson was handed an 11-29 probationary sentence for harassment.
‘ Brittani Ivie was granted an 11-29 judicial diversion and must perform 16 hours public service work and stay out of Wal-Mart for theft.
‘ David C. Griffin was directed to serve 30 days and pay $50 plus costs for public intoxication and failure to appear in court.
‘ Daniel Rodriguez was given a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $100 restitution for vandalism.
‘ Bedia Ann Bland must serve 48 hours and pay $50 plus costs for public intoxication.
‘ Matthew Roberts and Leamor R. Martinez were fined $10 plus costs for public intoxication.
‘ Julio Rangel had his probation extended by a half year for violation of probation.
‘ Landon Martin must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation and must also go for a mental evaluation.
‘ Peggy Bowdoin had her probation extended by six months and must serve 10 days for violation of probation.
