Judge Stanley issues 18 sentences
Eighteen people were among those sentenced this week by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley. Included in Circuit Court action:
‘ Jose Bautista Morales was ordered to serve one year of a 10-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for possession of drugs.
‘ Sergio Martinez was ordered to serve 128 days of an eight-year sentence, pay $2,000 plus costs and perform 200 hours public service work for possession with intent to sell cocaine.
‘ Vincent Reed was directed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence and perform 16 hours public service work for third-offense driving on a suspended license.
‘ John Lake was ordered to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs and lose his license for one year for DUI.
‘ Clayton Lance was directed to serve 20 days of an 11-29 sentence, perform eight hours public service work and lose his license for one year for driving on a revoked license.
‘ Brian L. Krause must serve 90 days and have his probation extended by one year for violation of probation. He was free on probation for theft.
‘ Phyllis Bennett must serve 45 days for violation of probation. She was free on probation for prescription fraud.
‘ Richard E. Cathey Jr., must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation. He was free on probation for drunk driving.
‘ Michael Shane Davis must serve 60 days and have his probation extended by one year for violation of probation. He was free on probation for manufacture of drugs.
‘ Jeffery Lynn Murphy must serve 120 days and have his probation extended by three months for violation of probation. He was free on probation for attempted casual exchange of drugs with a minor.
‘ Thomas W. Harville Jr., must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation. He was free on probation for attempting to manufacture drugs and assault.
‘ April Herrington must serve the balance of her sentence for violation of probation. She was free on probation for aggravated assault and filing a false report.
‘ Ella Willliams must serve the balance of her sentence for violation of probation. She was free on probation for sale of drugs.
‘ Robert L. Popplewell must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation. He was free on probation for sixth-offense driving on a revoked license.
‘ Donnie E. Roark must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation. He was free on probation for simple assault.
‘ Jerry Hillis must serve 30 days and have his probation extended by one year for violation of probation. He was free on probation for aggravated burglary, theft and assault.
‘ Juan Jantes had his probation extended by six months for violation of probation. He was free on probation for simple assault.
‘ Brandy Nicole Keen must serve 60 days and have her probation extended by one year for violation of probation. She was free on probation for driving on a revoked license.
