Dr Pepper sits atop standings

Action in the Gold and Silver bowling league started back up last week at McMinnville Lanes. After Tuesday’s round of the summer league, Dr Pepper is in first place with six points followed by McMinnville Lanes with five points, Cumberland Lumber and Foster & Foster Realty have four points each. Crouch Motors and Warren County Nursery have three points each. Holder Realty has two points and Security Federal has one point.

For the women, Faye Burch turned in the high game of the day with a 199 game and high series of the day with a 520. Patty Womack rolled a 197 game with a 480 series.

Doris Flossi had a 178 game with a 460 series. Mary Ray turned in a 169 game and a 483 series. Linda Thorton rolled a 163 game and a 449 series. Mickey Patton had a 166 game and Robbie Bond rolled a 162 game.

R.H. Bond had the hot hand for the men as he turned in a 213 high game of the day and a 575 high series of the day. Larry Patton rolled a 202 game with a 515 series. Billy Hayes also had a 202 game and he turned in a 510 series.

James Hutchins had a 192 game and a 535 series. Coy Hillis rolled a 192 game and a 515 series. Jim Newby turned in a 178 game and a 505 series and Gene Wilcher also had a 178 game.

In team play totals, Warren County Nursery had the high game of the day with a 678 and high series of the day with a 1906 round.
