Harold Edward Young, 65

Harold Edward Young, 65, of McMinnville died Wednesday, Jan. 30 at Raintree Manor Nursing Center in McMinnville.

He was born on Sept. 20, 1942 in Chattooga County, Ga., and was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel H. and Willie Dossie Parker Young, a sister Rachel McNair and a brother Herman C. Young.

Survivors include brothers John K. Young Sr., and Luther A. Young, both of Summerville, Ga., and Billy Joe Young of Lyerly, Ga.; special niece, Claudia Jordan of McMinnville. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral service is 2 p.m. today at Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Chattooga County, Ga. The Young family will receive friends today from noon until 2 p.m. at Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home, 12855 Highway 27, Summerville, Ga. 30747. Phone number is 706-857-2481.
