The annual meeting concerning Banks Cemetery in DeKalb County will be held at 2 p.m. at Banks Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
MONDAY, APRIL 2
The Pioneerettes Dance Clinic will be held from 3:15 to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday and 3:15 to 6 p.m. Thursday. There is a $10 clinic fee with CD included and $10 clinic shirt.
TUESDAY, APRIL 3
The monthly meeting of the LBJ&C Headstart policy council will be held at 6 p.m. at the Development Corporation office on Chocolate Drive in Cookeville. The LBJ&C office and Headstart centers will be closed for Good Friday.
Ten percent of April 3 purchases at Captain D?s will benefit Homeland Community Bank?s Relay for Life fundraising.
McMinnville?s Finance Committee will meet at noon at city hall.

Jesus Name Pentecostal Church will hold its Spring Fling April 6-7 at the church on Mullican Street beginning at 8 a.m.
An Easter Parade Pageant will be held at Burritt College in Spencer to benefit Piney Creek Relay for Life. Groups from 6-10 years of age with entry costing $10. Must wear Easter attire. For information call 946-7025.
SATURDAY, APRIL 7
The Walkie Talkie Relay for Life team from AmSouth Bank will hold a bake sale at 9 a.m. at Stewart Pharmacy. The same day, beginning at 10 a.m., a car wash will be held at Auto Zone benefiting their American Cancer Society Relay for Life team.
The Retired Senior Volunteer Program will hold a fundraising bake sale at Wal-Mart.
The McMinnville Parks and Recreation Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday. All hunters need to bring a basket. Those 6-9 will hunt at 1 p.m., 2-5 at 3 p.m. at Jungle Jym, ages 2-5 at 3 p.m. on the city league field. Parents may chaperone the 2- to 3-year-olds. Egg hunt for ages 10-16 will be held at 8 p.m. Bring a bag and flashlight.

The emergency management agency, along with the weather service, will hold a weather spotter class at 6 p.m., April 9 in the early voting room in back of the county administrative building on Locust Street. The class will teach how to spot potentially dangerous storms.
