Linda Gail Lowery, 56

McMinnville resident and White County native Linda Gail Lowery, 56, was born Aug. 25, 1950 and died Nov. 28 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.

A CNA and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Pauline Goodson Paine. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, G.W. Wright; two sisters, Kimberly Paine and Kathy Bentley and granddaughter, Alexis Daniell Lowery. She was married July 19, 1991 to Ronnie Grafton Lowery of McMinnville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Michael John Wright and Isaac Wayne Wright, both of McMinnville; stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Shane and Lori Lowery of McMinnville; stepdaughter and step-son-in-law, Rhonda and Junior Prater of Manchester; seven grandchildren, Mitchell Reid, Isaih Cole, Cameron DeWayne and Shayland Wright and Kierstyn and Amelia Prater; three sisters and brother-in-law, Allene and Joe Simmons of Sparta and Jenny Watson and Shelly Paine, both of McMinnville and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald Ray Roberts of Nashville and Billy Carl Roberts and Lloyd Earl and Mary Roberts both of Sparta.

Funeral service will be held at noon Thursday in High’s Chapel with Jimmy Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery in White County. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at High?s.

High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
