Applicants being accepted for Dairy Princess

The event is open to any Warren County girl in grades fourth, fifth or sixth as of January 1, 2005. Applications may be picked up at the Warren County Agricultural Extension Service at 201 Locust St.
A $25 entry fee is required for entry into the pageant. Contestants may be sponsored by a local business or parents may provide entry fee. The fee will help cover the cost of the pageant. Dress for the event is pageant attire, but no longer than tea length.
Last years Dairy Princess, Tess Fryar, daughter of Ron and Becky Fryar, will be present to crown the 2005 4-H Dairy Princess. Her responsibilities this past year have included handing out ribbons at the Warren County A&L Fair, riding in the Christmas parade and helping to promote the dairy industry during the month of June.
Deadline for entry is June 1. If you would like your child’s picture submitted to the newspaper as a contestant in the pageant please include a snapshot and $5 to cover the publication fee. The event is arranged by the Warren County 4-H Club.
The Agricultural Extension Service offers its programs to all eligible persons regardless of race, color, national origin, sex or disability.
