Ann Roden, 77

McMinnville resident and Cannon County native Ann Roden, 77, died March 14 at River Park Hospital.

An employee of General Motors and a member of East End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Mary Elle Ford Melton; and was preceded in death by sisters, Pauline Francis and Cindy Turner; brother, Glenn William Melton.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Melvin Bradley of Paint Rock, Ala.; sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Sheryl Harmon of Superior Township, Mich., Gary and Juanita Harmon of Altamont; sister, Agnes Byrd of McMinnville; brothers, Horace Melton of McMinnville and Clebren Melton of Murfreesboro; eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel with James W. Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Blues Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at McMinnville Funeral Home.
