Maggie Lorene Lewis, 83

Spencer resident and Van Buren County native Maggie Lorene Lewis, 83, died Nov. 26 at Generations in Spencer after a one-year illness.

A factory worker and a member of the Church of God, she was the daughter of Jay and Mary Guy Mosley; and was preceded in death by husband, Arthur Lee Lewis; son, Gary Wayne Lewis; and brothers, J.M., Don and Hermon Mosley.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Jo Lewis of Spencer, Marvin and Maxine Lewis of Mooneyham; daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Barry Nabors of McMinnville, Denise and Timothy Jones of Rock Island; brothers, Roy Mosley of Ohio and Bill Mosley of Bone Cave; sister, Betty Lewis of Ohio; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home Spencer Chapel with Dennis Deweese officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. today and be held from 8 a.m. until time of service Monday at the Spencer Chapel.
