Traffic Court: Ross hears 107-person court docket
A 107-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Traffic Court.
Included in court action:
• Barry P. Simmons was bound over to the grand jury on charges of second-offense DUI and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries.
• Irving Houston Green was ordered to serve 45 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $610 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for two years for second-offense DUI and driving without a license.
• Edwin O. Bazaldua was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $50 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for two years for third-offense driving on a suspended license.
• Jason Egerton was issued a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $250 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for possession of drugs.
• Tisha Campbell, Justin Nunley, Yao Lopel Sergio, Melissa Rojas, Manuel Bello Fuentes, Jose Manuel Mejia, Ivan Bautista and Rebecca L. Pate were fined $10 plus costs for driving without a license.
• The remainder of the cases were either minor moving violations settled by driving school, cases continued to a later date or dismissed.
Clarification
• Leta A. Glenn of the Warren County Highway Department is not the Letitea Glenn on the docket for passing a worthless check.
