The bride is the daughter of Dewey Barlow and Wanda Barlow of McMinnville. She is the granddaughter of Jack and Maggie Holland, Johnnie Barlow and the late Wilma Barlow, all of McMinnville.

The inn stairway was draped with purple tulle and clear lights tied with iridescent bows. An archway was also draped with purple tulle, star lights and wisteria in varying shades of purple and flanked with baskets of Boston fern topped with violet bows. White lanterns illuminated the pathway leading to the gazebo where the bridal couple exchanged their marriage vows. The gazebo was decorated with swags of purple tulle, iridescent bows and clear lights.
For her wedding, the bride wore a strapless satin gown fashioned with a wrap-around bodice that laced in back. Clear beads embellished the gown and cathedral train. She carried a bridal bouquet of purple and white roses, violet tiger lilies and white calla lilies accented with iridescent pearls and white ribbon. Tucked among the blossoms was a delicate handkerchief belonging to the bride’s late great-grandmother.
The bridegroom wore a Scottish formal dress made of the Wemyss family tartan. The kilt, handmade in Scotland and tailored especially for him, was accented with a thistle sporran, gent’s garter flashes attached to the sock, a Wemyss kilt pin and an antique Sgian Dhu, which was hidden down the right sock.
Chosen as maid of honor was Krista Kelley of Murfreesboro, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amanda Bailey of Rising Sun, Ind., another cousin, and Alisha Byford of McMinnville.
The attendants wore deep purple silk frocks with a chiffon overlay draped at the bodice, with illusion shoulder straps and an asymmetrical hemline. The honor attendant carried a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet while the bridesmaids held bouquets of white and purple roses tied at the stems with orchid organza ribbon.
Flower girl was Sarah Campbell of Paris, Ill., who wore a sleeveless dress of white silk gathered at the waistline with white rosebuds that were accented by a double overlay of chiffon. She held a white satin basket filled with purple rose petals.
Ryan Wemyss of Nashville served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Justin Rich and Will Guthrie, who also assisted usher Josh Holland, cousin of the bride, in seating the guests.
The bride’s mother wore a floor-length gown of lavender organza styled with a beaded bodice. Her corsage matched flowers in the bride’s bouquet.
Mother of the bridegroom was attired in a sleeveless black dress accented with a sash made from the Wemyss family tartan.
The bride’s parents were hosts for a wedding reception given at the inn. Approximately 100 guests were present.
Purple rosebuds graced the three-tiered wedding cake iced in white. The bridegroom’s strawberry cake was made in the shape of the Wemyss family crest. Guests also dined on pasta with various fruits, vegetables and cheeses.
Servers were Kristin and Lauren Wemyss, cousins of the bridegroom.
