Ella Mae Allen, 66

Spencer resident and Van Buren County native Ella Mae Allen, 66, died June 28 at Generations in Spencer after a six-month illness.

A factory worker and a member of the Church of God, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Maggie McDaniel Allen.

She is survived by brother and sister-in-law, J.L. and Diana Allen of Spencer; nephew and wife, James Dean and Ewina Allen of Spencer; niece, Dana Carole Shoemake of Cookeville; aunts, Mildred Powell of Dunlap and Evelyne Smith of California; great-niece, Madison Page Shoemake of Cookeville; several cousins and friends.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home Spencer Chapel with Danny Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Shockley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the Spencer Chapel.
