Dairy Princess Pageant slated June 19
A total of 28 young girls, who are in grades four through six, will be competing for the 2004 Dairy Princess title during the annual Warren County 4-H Dairy Princess Pageant. It will be an event of June 19 at Three Star Mall’s center stage, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Serving as this year’s June Dairy Month chairperson is Erika Betschart, daughter of Tina and Michael Betschart. Olivia Majors, 2003 Dairy Princess and daughter of Deitra Dunlap and Buddy Majors Jr., will present the crown to the winner.
The winner’s responsibilities during the year include handing out ribbons at the Warren County A&L Fair, participating in the Christmas parade, and helping to promote the dairy industry throughout the month of June. Then, she will crown her successor at the 2005 pageant.
The event, which will conclude day-long June Dairy activities at the mall, is arranged by the Warren County 4-H Club.
