Junior Miss deadline nears

Deadline for entry in the 2004 Junior Miss Warren County Pageant has been set for Feb. 17. An open registration will be held that day from 3 to 6:30 p.m. at the Civic Center. Mailed applications must be postmarked by Feb. 17.

The ninth annual pageant will take place April 3 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Civic Center, announces Junior Auxiliary, pageant sponsor.

Emily Margaret Hobbs, reigning Junior Miss, will crown the winner and present awards to Miss Congeniality, Miss Photogenic and Junior Miss Little Sister. She is the daughter of Michael and Margaret Hobbs.

The competition is open to girls ages 14 through 16 who have resided in Warren County for the past six months or more. Entrants must be enrolled in school full-time and must never have been married, pregnant or have had a child.

Application forms may be obtained at Kathy’s Bridal and Formal Wear, Dream Maker Bridal, Ashley’s Attic and all the local schools. A $35 entry fee and photograph of the applicant must accompany each application.
