Manchester resident and Cannon County native Theonia Lefevers Cooper, 84, died Feb. 4 at Manchester Health Care in Manchester.
A homemaker and a member of McMinnville First Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Cooper in 1991.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and J. Stanley Rogers of Tullahoma; son and daughter-in-law, Sen. Jerry and Lisa Cooper of Morrison; grandchildren and their spouses, Dr. Amy and Bill Nickels, Stan and Lee Rogers, Rachel and Carter Sain, Elisa and Barry Luna, all of Coffee County, Sally and Mike Pack of McMinnville, Faith and Matt Martin of Cleveland, and Holly Grissom of Nashville; great-grandchildren, Will, Anna Grace and Cooper Nickels, Trey Rogers, Eliot Sain, Raylee Pack and Tyler Martin; and brother, Bill Lefevers of McMinnville.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at McMinnville First Baptist Church with Fred Bueto officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. Memorials may be made to McMinnville First Baptist Church Library, Magness Library and the Manchester/Coffee Public Library in Manchester.

Anthony Wesley (Buck) Ferrell, 45
Smithville resident Anthony Wesley (Buck) Ferrell, 45, died Feb. 3 at Baptist DeKalb Hospital.
A construction worker and a member of the Baptist Church, he was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Ferrell, and brother, Melvin Shehane.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Ruth P. and Tom Cantrell of Smithville; sisters, Sarah Shehane and Barbara Bates, both of McMinnville, Karen Stacey and Felicia Cantrell, both of Smithville; brother, Ricky Shehane of Smithville; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Thursday at DeKalb Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Violet officiating. Burial followed at Bonham Cemetery.

Bobby Allen Holder, 79
Corbin, Ky., resident and Warren County native Bobby Allen Holder, 79, died Feb. 3 at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin after an extended illness.
A heavy equipment operator with Brenda Coal Company serving in the U.S. Navy on Destroyer USS Herman during World War II, he was the son of Bobby Clifford and Fannie Elizabeth Dunn Holder.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Holder; son, Bobby James Holder of McMinnville; stepdaughters, Katherine Elizabeth Hall of Corbin, Willa Rea Collins of Dallas, Texas, and Regina Kay Davis of Knobs Nester, Mo.; granddaughter, Krystal Tanner of McMinnville; five step-grandchildren; great-granddaughter, Kristin Tanner of McMinnville; great-grandson, Marty Lee Tanner Jr. of McMinnville; sisters, Leota Watson and her husband David of McMinnville; and Melba Joy Campbell of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at noon today at High’s Chapel with David Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Blues Hill Cemetery with military graveside rites administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service today at High’s.

Denny Allen Sheets, 33
McMinnville resident and Lincoln Park, Mich., native Denny Allen Sheets, 33, died unexpectedly Feb. 3 at River Park Hospital.
A welder at Nissan and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of Denny and Jackie Barnes Sheets of McMinnville and is also survived by son, Daniel Allen Sheets of McMinnville; stepson, Joshua Dean Turner of McMinnville; stepdaughter, Laura Cheyenne Rigsby of McMinnville; sister, Deana Gilispie of McMinnville; and niece, Katie Gilispie.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at High’s Chapel with John Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.

Ruth Marie Williams, 81
McMinnville resident and Gary, Ind., native Ruth Marie Williams, 81, died Feb. 3 at NHC Healthcare after an extended illness.
A retired restaurant hostess and a member of Christ United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Charles Ralph and Sylvia Ester Albert Glutting; and was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Albert Glutting.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, David and Susan Williams of McMinnville; sister, Sally Tressler of Lake Station, Ind; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at High’s Chapel with Rev. Paul Tramel officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at High’s.
