As such, my role is to work with the local RC&D council as a facilitator, communicator, advisor and capacity builder. The mission of the Hull-York Lakeland RC&D is ‘To enhance the quality of life in the Hull-York Lakeland RC&D area by promoting the wise use of our natural resources and economic growth in our communities.’ To accomplish this mission I intend to work with the council and community leaders to identify natural resource issues and concerns and attempt to address these issues in a manner that helps to improve economic development and quality of life for residents in the RC&D area.”
Sanders looks forward to working with the council members, community leaders and residents in the Hull-York Lakeland area and encourages contacts from anyone with potential projects or ideas or even potential solutions.
