Hilary Phillips appears on ESPN at AXA Liberty Bowl Football Classic

Hilary Phillips will be among homecoming queens selected to participate in activities in conjunction with the AXA Liberty Bowl Football Classic in Memphis, airing at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 31 on ESPN. The Liberty Bowl is celebrating its 44th year, making it the seventh oldest college bowl game.

Phillips will be included in a pre-game introduction to be held mid-field as well as half-time highlights before a live audience of 50,000 fans and several million more watching on television. Nationally known entertainer Clint Black will be the guest performer.

While in Memphis, Phillips and the other homecoming queens will attend a homecoming luncheon for dignitaries; spend time with young patients at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital; and be recognized during the AXA Liberty Bowl Rodeo. They will also ride in the Liberty Bowl parade.

The outstanding Warren County High School senior plans to attend the University of Memphis where she will study pre-law.

At the high school, she is student body president, as well as serving as president for Beta Club and secretary of the Interact Club. She is a member of the National Honor Society and has been a member of the Pioneerettes dance team for four years.
