Drug cases fill General Sessions Court docket
A 51-person docket was heard Tuesday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Court.
Included in court action:
• Victor Ramirez was ordered to serve 60 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and pay $750 plus costs for possession of drugs.
• Robert Popplewell was bound over to the grand jury on the charge of manufacture of meth.
• Kent Winfrey was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $750 plus costs for possession of meth.
• Melissa Runyon was instructed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $400 plus costs for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
• Melissa Jane Ross was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $1,000 plus costs and perform eight hours public service work for simple possession of marijuana and contempt of court.
• Eddie Sullivan was bound over to the grand jury on charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
• Andrew Travis Haston was given an 11-29 sentence and must pay $750 plus costs for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
• Jennifer Lynn Stone was ordered to serve seven days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $300 plus costs for possession of drug paraphernalia, theft and failure to appear in court.
• David Chisam was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence and pay $250 plus costs for possession of drugs.
• Thomas Hildreth was bound over to the grand jury on charges of sexual battery, driving on a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident.
• Tisha R. Cook was handed a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $50 plus costs, perform 16 hours public service work and attend conflict management courses for domestic assault.
• Brandy Keen was instructed to serve five days of a six-month sentence and attend anger management classes for simple assault.
• Tony Pack was ordered to serve 45 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $75 plus costs for theft from an automobile.
• Ronald Masters was handed a six-month probationary sentence and must perform 16 hours public service work and pay $50 plus costs for consumption of alcohol under the age of 21.
• James Mathew Manus was given a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $50 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
• Hector Martinez must serve $10 plus costs for public intoxication.
• Adrian Aguilar was ordered to serve 30 days of a six-month sentence and pay $50 plus costs for public intoxication. He must also serve the balance of his former sentence for violation of probation.
• Royce Marsh must serve 72 hours for violation of probation.
• Carolyn Northcutt must serve the balance of her sentence for violation of probation.
Clarification
• Donna Zahn Earls of Jessie Road is not the same Donna Earls charged with passing a worthless check.
