Judge Ross hears court docket
A 66-person docket was heard by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Court. A special judge also heard a limited number of cases.
Included in court action:
• Bertha Steele was bound over to the grand jury on five counts of forgery.
• Mary Foutch was fined $60 plus costs for assault and public intoxication.
• Alejandro Bocanegro was directed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence and pay $50 plus costs for assault.
• Donna Earls was given a six-month probationary sentence for passing two worthless checks totaling $119.
• Daniel Sullins was granted a six-month judicial diversion for passing a worthless check in the amount of $6.
• Donald Stembridge must serve 10 days and pay $20 plus costs for resisting arrest and reckless driving.
• Jeannie Linda Judkins was granted a six-month judicial diversion and must pay $10 plus costs and perform eight hours public service work for consumption of alcohol under the age of 21.
• Charles Parrish was fined $50 plus costs and must perform 16 hours public service work for consumption of alcohol under the age of 21.
• Ricky McCormick must serve 48 hours and pay $50 plus costs for public intoxication.
• Jason Brindley was bound over to the grand jury on the charge of public intoxication.
• Manuel Holguin was ordered to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence and pay $95 plus costs for public intoxication, criminal impersonation and vandalism.
• Tony Woodall must serve 48 hours and pay $50 plus costs for consumption of alcohol under the age of 21.
• Daniel Holt must serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence and pay $10 plus costs for leaving the scene of an accident and driving on a suspended license.
• Newton Hampton was fined $10 plus costs for disorderly conduct.
• Scott Durham must serve 10 days for failure to appear in court.
• Antonio Rangel must serve 10 days for failure to appear in court.
• Brandon Rains must serve 21 days for violation of probation and failure to appear in court.
• Carlos Ordones must serve 12 days and pay $50 plus costs for failure to appear in court and driving without a license.
• James Knox had his probation extended by six months for violation of probation.
