Ross hands out sentences for traffic violations
A 40-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Traffic Court.
Included in court action:
• Santos Acuna Delacruz was ordered to serve 90 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $650 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for two years for second-offense DUI and second-offense driving on a revoked license.
• Pokie George Jr. was directed to serve 60 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $50 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for one year for fourth-offense driving on a revoked license.
• Kevin D. Elridge was instructed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $50 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for one year for second-offense driving on a suspended license.
• Juan Sanchez Alergria and Anderson Gonzalez were ordered to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $360 plus costs and forfeit their driver’s license for one year for DUI and driving without a license.
• Julia Fults was ordered to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs and forfeit her driver’s license for one year for DUI.
• Richard D. McCormick was directed to serve five days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for one year for DUI.
• Leah E. Wallace was fined $10 plus costs and must perform 16 hours public service work for driving without a license.
• Juarez Tiburcio, Germando Mundia, Brandon W. McGlaughlin, Dustin R. McKillip and Terry L. Newman were fined $10 plus costs for driving without a license.
• Jeffery D. Martin was bound over to the grand jury on the charge of third-offense driving on a suspended license.
• Kizzie A. Parson was bound over to the grand jury on charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. The defendant was give a 30-day sentence for violation of probation.
• Liverero Vega was fined $10 plus costs for disorderly conduct.
• Chase H. Gannaway was issued a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $60 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for criminal impersonation and consumption of alcohol under the age of 21.
• Bobby Stoner must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.
• Shannon Pleasant must serve five days for violation of probation. An additional six months was added to the probationary term.
• Christie Guerard must serve five days for violation of probation.
• Jeffery Bauer must serve seven days for violation of probation.
• Robert Christian must serve 60 days for violation of probation.
• Matthew May must serve 10 days for violation of probation.
• Konrad Reichman must serve five days for violation of probation.
