Enter by March 18: Deadline Junior Princess Pageant set
Pageant officials are announcing the names of the first two contestants to enter the competition, beating the March 18 deadline. They are:
Karly Sarenda Wanamaker, age 10, who is the daughter of Mike and Karla Wanamaker. She is a fifth grade student at Dibrell School and is being sponored by her parents.
Caitlin Mica’ McClain, age 9, is the daughter of Mike and Tammy McClain. The fourth-grader at Dibrell School is being sponsored by Tennessee Gymnastics and Cheerleading.
Applications may be obtained at Kathy’s Bridal, Your Tot to Teen, Ashley’s Attic and the Vogue Shoppe. An entry fee of $25 must accompany each application.
Sponsors are not required but will be announced at the pageant.
Applications must be taken to Kathy’s Bridal in Plaza Shopping Center by the March 18 deadline. A picture and an additional $5 fee must accompany the entry form if your child’s picture is to be published in the newspaper along with the other contestants.
Judging will be based on poise, personality and appearance. Judges will not be residents of Warren County and children of Jaycee members are not allowed to participate. No child may be a pageant contestant if they are planning to participate in the entertainment portion of the evening.
General admission is $3 per adult and $1 for children under age 12.
