Vonso Savage, 99
A retired employee of Yager Grocery, Black’s Feed Mill and Cumberland Lumber, he was a member of East End Drive Church of Christ.
The son of Hugh and Laura Spurlock Savage, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ella Durham in 2002.
He is survived by daughter, Hatilene English of McMinnville; grandsons, Floyd, Hugh and Dwayne Lusk of McMinnville and Frank English of Wisconsin; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; nieces, Laura Mae Hogan of California and Sarah Martin of McMinnville; and cousin, Charlesetta of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Services were held Monday at High’s Chapel with George King Jr. officiating. Burial followed at Gardens of Memory.
High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
