Allen appointed chairman of Bryant’s local campaign

Local Republican Sam Allen has been named Warren County chairman by Congressman Ed Bryant to aid in his run for the U.S. Senate.

“Warren County is very important for the Aug. 1 primary,” Bryant said. “I am honored to have Sam on our team. He will be a real asset to the campaign. I certainly appreciate his hard work and dedication.”

Allen had high praise for Bryant in accepting the local chair position.

“Congressman Bryant has fought for the people of Tennessee. He is a man of integrity and high moral values and his record as an effective legislator speaks for itself,” Allen said. “I am very excited I can be a part of his campaign in Warren County. I encourage Warren County voters to get to know Congressman Bryant.

“A lot of what this race boils down to is whether we are going to have new leadership for the future of our state or return to the past. I believe it is time for Tennessee to have new leadership from our next senator. Congressman Bryant represents this new leadership, and I am honored to help him win this race.”
