Middle school soccer unbeaten
In varsity action, Jose Martinez and Armando Santilliar scored two goals apiece in a 4-1 Pioneer win. When the junior varsity squads took the field, Warren County’s Dexter Hillis scored both WCMS goals in a 2-1 victory.
“We’ve got a real strong team this year,” said WCMS coach Matt Jackson. “We’re looking forward to a good season.”
The Pioneer varsity built a 2-0 lead by halftime, and went on top 4-0 before Tullahoma added a late goal.
With the win WCMS improved to 3-0. The Pioneers will take on White County at home on Thursday, with the varsity game set for 5 p.m. and the junior varsity contest to follow at 6:30.
