Jennifer D. Clifton, Keith Merritt to wed

June 18 is the wedding date chosen by Jennifer Dianne Clifton and Keith Lynn Merritt. The ceremony will be held at Third Baptist Church in Murfreesboro.

Jennifer Dianne Clifton and Keith Lynn Merritt of Murfreesboro will be married June 18 in a nuptial ceremony taking place at Third Baptist Church in Murfreesboro.

Announcing the couple’s engagement and forthcoming wedding are the bride-elect’s parents, Kenneth and Debra Clifton of Dickson.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Jerry and Kathy Merritt.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mary and the late Gilbert Clifton of Dickson and the late Jennie Brown Fussell.

His grandparents are Hazel and the Nevle Hubbard and the late Walter and Edith Merritt of Clinton.

Miss Clifton is a Dickson County High graduate and received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Middle Tennessee State University. She is a first-grade teacher with the Rutherford County School System.

Mr. Merritt is a graduate of WCHS and MTSU, receiving a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology. He is a project engineer at Turner Universal Construction.
