Yvonne Marie Robinson, 63

McMinnville resident and Davidson County native Yvonne Marie Robinson, 63, was born June 23, 1943 and died Feb. 25 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville following an extended illness.

A homemaker and a member of Clark United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Josephine Carrick Hancock. She was also preceded in death by grandparents Henry and Callie Isabell Hancock.

She was married to Robert Robinson of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one brother-in-law, James Thomas Jones of McMinnville; sisters-in-law, Birda Mae Thomas, Lillie Mae Martin, and Pearline Ikeard, all of McMinnville and Carolyn Sue Watson of Sparta, several nieces and nephews; devoted cousins, Mattie Miller, Hattie Linda Wood, Mamie Sweat, Jacqueline Tubbs, Pearlie Mai Ellis, Howard Taylor and Marvin Hancock and devoted friends, Maxine Weeden, Willie Campbell and Bro. Green.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at High?s Chapel with Shirley Rayford officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the wake from 1 to 2 p.m. today at High?s Chapel.
