Virginia Ruth Hall, 81
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Hall; daughter, Barbara and parents, John Douglas and Maude Jane Warren Pinegar; and brothers, Charles Pinegar, Jack Pinegar, Glen Beatty; and sisters, Lilimae Smith, Elizabeth Drue Matheny, Ada Shockley; and two granddaughters, Rebecca Jean Brown and Sarah Hall.
She is survived by children, Linda Brown, Jean and Paul Hobbs, Robert and Peggy Hall, Chuck and Charlie Hall, Doug Hall, Michael Hall, Susan Hall, and Kathilene and David Gartung. Local grandchildren include Tammy Hobbs Jones, Tonia Hobbs Farmer, Paula Hobbs Muina, and Christy Hobbs; great granddaughter Tori Smith and great-great-granddaughter, Emmalee Reese Smith. Also known as Granny, Mama Hall and The Grand Woman to many, many more.
Services will be held Saturday Feb. 2 at the River of Life Assembly of God Church, 596 Sam Ridley Parkway, Smyrna at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Viola at 2:30 p.m. with reception following at Westwood Church of Christ for families and friends after the burial. Visitation for family and friends will be at the River of Life in Smyrna today from 4 to 9 p.m.
